UP News: The local court has ordered registration of a case against three police officers and three constables on the complaint of the owner of a dairy company in Ghaziabad. The owner of the dairy company had said in the complaint that a fake case was registered against him and he was beaten up. Chief Judicial Magistrate Sandeep Choudhary passed the order against Mithlesh Upadhyay, former in-charge of Sihani Gate police station, two sub-inspectors Gaurav Kumar and Vijay Kumar posted at Dayanand Nagar police post and three other policemen.

Police beat up dairy owner by registering a false complaint

Businessman Vinod Kumar alleged that an acquaintance named Mukesh Verma had borrowed a total of Rs 11.72 lakh from him on two occasions, but later he refused to return the money and lodged a false complaint against him along with a policeman. Vinod Kumar alleged that he was kept in a lock-up, where he was thrashed and suffered an eye injury. He said the police also confiscated his licensed pistol and a vehicle.

Vinod Kumar said that after his release he filed a petition in the court to get his vehicle released, but the police allegedly submitted a false report to the court, stating that he did not have the vehicle. Now on the complaint of the victim, the local court has ordered to register a case against three police officers and three constables. The owner of the dairy company had said in the complaint that a fake case was registered against him and he was beaten up.
