UP News: Uttar Pradesh Minister of State for Jail Suresh Rahi on Saturday staged a dharna against the district administration. He alleged that the administration has issued notices to around 170 villagers without any investigation for illegal occupation of village land. He said, “Notices have been given to women and children without Aadhaar, how can Deputy Collector Sadar (Sitapur) Anil Kumar do this?” .
Along with the minister, his supporters also joined the dharna.
Rahi, MLA from Hargaon assembly constituency in Sitapur district, said that the residents of Piprahori village have been served notices without any investigation. Where 70 percent of the men work outside the village in different states. He said, “Without Aadhaar, women and children have been given notice, how can Sub Collector Sadar (Sitapur) Anil Kumar do this?” The minister later asked District Magistrate Anuj Singh to conduct a proper inquiry and withdraw the notice. Told. He said that the District Magistrate has said that the matter should be investigated. The minister was accompanied by his supporters in the dharna that lasted for about 30 minutes.
