UP School Uniform: An important decision was taken in the meeting of the Council of Ministers in Uttar Pradesh held on Tuesday. In this, money will now be sent directly to the bank account of their parents to buy clothes, shoes, socks and other items of students of government and aided primary and pre-secondary schools. A spokesman of the state government said here that the decision was taken in a meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Uniforms, sweaters, shoe-stockings, school bags and stationery for students from class one to eight in all council primary and upper primary schools and non-government aided primary and pre-secondary schools in the academic session 2022-23 in the meeting. The proposal to send the purchase amount directly to the bank account of their parents was approved.

The spokesman said that along with this, the Council of Ministers has also approved the proposal of advance financial section of the entire amount of free uniforms, sweaters, shoe-stockings, school bags and stationery items to the students every year without waiting for their share from the Centre. has been approved. In the academic year 2022-23, the target is to benefit two crore students from this scheme. A transparent system will be created for buying free uniforms, sweaters, shoe-stockings, school bags and stationery by direct transfer of money to the parents’ bank account.

The Council of Ministers has also approved a proposal to authorize the Chief Minister to take decisions regarding any procedure or change in rates in future. Let us tell you that in all government and aided primary and pre-secondary schools of the state, there is a provision to provide uniform to the students of class one to eight in the budget of the central and state government.
