Uttar Pradesh News: In Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, a teacher working for the last 13 years has been sacked by showing fake degrees of B.Sc and B.Ed. Not only this, instructions have also been given to recover the salary paid to him so far. District Basic Education Officer Bhupendra Singh said on Thursday that Rohit Kumar Yadav was posted as the headmaster in the primary school located at Ahibaranpur in Kunda tehsil area. Rohit Kumar was sacked on Wednesday for getting a job on the basis of fake degrees of BSc and BEd.
How was the fake degree exposed?
The District Basic Education Officer said that instructions have also been issued to Yadav to recover the payment made as salary till now. Singh said that Prayagraj resident Rajnath Yadav had complained to the Additional Director of Basic Education Department on February 17, 2021, alleging that Rohit Kumar Yadav’s B.Sc and B.Ed degree is fake. On the basis of the complaint, the department got the degree checked from Lucknow University, in which they were found to be fake. He said that after the notice was issued against him in this case, Rohit demanded a fresh inquiry and the examination control department once again confirmed the degree to be fake. Singh said that on the basis of the report of the university, teacher Rohit Kumar Yadav has been sacked and instructions have been given to recover the amount given to him as salary and register a case in the police station Hathigwan.
Four teachers working with the help of fake documents sacked
It is worth noting that in the month of May also, four primary teachers working in the Basic Education Department with the help of fake records were dismissed from service. District Basic Education Officer Akhilesh Pratap Singh had told that the concerned Block Education Officers have been directed to register an FIR against these four in the police. Singh said that the process of recovery of the amount given to these sacked teachers under various heads including salary is also being started. He said that the educational records of all these were found to be fake. Singh said all the four teachers were dismissed from service for not appearing despite repeated instructions for verification of documents.
