Uttarakhand News: An Army jawan was killed and another injured after a stone fell from a hill following a landslide near the India-China border in Uttarakhand’s Uttarkashi district. an officer gave this information on Wednesday.

District Disaster Management Officer Devendra Patwal said, “The jawans were walking from Nelang towards Harshil when a stone fell on them. Both were posted in Army unit in Harshil valley.” He said 23-year-old soldier Sukhjinder Singh died after being hit by a stone and falling into a deep gorge. Patwal said that the injured jawan has been admitted to the hospital.
Uttarakhand: Girl fell in a ditch while taking selfie
At the same time, a 28-year-old girl from Uttar Pradesh died after she fell into a ditch while taking a selfie from her mobile on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway in Uttarakhand. The woman was returning to Rishikesh from her car on Tuesday after having darshan at Kedarnath. Around eight o’clock in the night, Priyanka stopped near the Kaudiyala area to take a selfie and fell into the ditch. The rescue operation was launched immediately after getting the information, but the body could be traced on Wednesday due to heavy darkness, the official said.
