There are 32 such districts of UP, where the Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding rain. According to the Meteorological Department, a yellow alert has been issued for rain in 32 districts of UP. Whereas, heavy rain has been predicted in Agra, Firozabad, Etawah and their surrounding districts.
At the same time, the 32 districts where the alert has been issued include Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Firozabad, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur City, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Sant Kabir Nagar, Amroha, Mahoba, Jhansi, Jalaun, Hamirpur and Lalitpur.
So far these districts have received less rain
If we talk about the low rainfall districts of the state, then it includes Kanpur, Mau, Amroha, Moradabad, Gonda, Basti, Sant Kabirnagar, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad. It has received less than 40 percent rainfall. At the same time, 40% rain has been recorded in Gautam Budh Nagar, Shravasti, Shahjahanpur, Jaunpur, Kushinagar, Farrukhabad, Kanpur Dehat and Rampur.
Drought conditions in 19 districts
Due to less rainfall in the state, 19 districts are on the verge of drought. Only 40 per cent of the normal rainfall has been recorded here. CM Yogi says that this time there has been less rain in 19 districts. In such a situation, all the districts should be closely monitored. Keep an eye on the places where sowing is being affected due to rain.

The people of the capital were waiting for rain for a long time. According to IMD, continuous rain may continue in Delhi for several days. Daily rain has been predicted in Delhi till August 8. Delhi may receive moderate rains on August 3, while it will be cloudy during this period. On August 4, there will be moderate rain. At the same time, light rain is expected in the capital on August 5 and 6. Heavy rain may occur in the capital on August 7 and 8. The average maximum temperature during this period will remain around 35 degrees.
As per the IMD forecast, the minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be 25 degree Celsius and 33 degree Celsius respectively on Wednesday. According to the data shared by IMD, the humidity in the city was recorded at 84 per cent at 8.30 am. The minimum temperature on Monday was recorded at 25.6 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded a notch below normal at 33.6 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in the national capital on Tuesday was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal.
