World population to hit 8 billion people today India to be most populated by next year

On 15 November 2022, the global population has reached 8 billion. Also, it is estimated that in 2023, India will surpass China as the world’s most populous country in terms of population. According to the United Nations report, there can be 850 crore people on the earth by 2030, 970 crores by 2050 and 1040 crores by 2100.

Let us tell you that the global population is growing at its slowest rate since 1950, which has reduced to less than 1 percent in 2020. The latest United Nations projections show that the world’s population could increase to around 8.5 billion in 2030 and 9.7 billion in 2050.

India will be the most populous country in 2023
According to the report, the fertility of many countries has declined and the population has been growing at a much slower rate since the 1950s. However, the biggest estimate is that in the year 2023, India will become the most populous country leaving behind China.

Half of the world’s population will be in these eight countries
The United Nations estimates that the world’s population will reach 1040 million around 2080. And by 2050, 50 percent of the world’s population will be living in 8 countries of the world- India, Pakistan, Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Philippines and Tanzania.

India’s population will decrease in 2100
According to the report of the Institute of Health Metrics Evaluation, after 78 years the TFR in India will be at 1.29. It is being told that in the year 2100, the population of India can be reduced by 43.3 crores from the fixed estimate. On the other hand, talking about migration, during the last one decade i.e. from 2010 to 2021, 1.65 crore Pakistanis have left their country and settled in other countries. After this, 35 lakh people from India, 29 lakh from Bangladesh, 16 lakh from Nepal and 10 lakh from Sri Lanka have gone to other countries.
