Yogi Adityanath on Pakistan: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath targeted Pakistan, saying that the Kargil war was forcibly imposed on India in the neighboring country of India. Speaking at a program organized on the occasion of Kargil Day at ‘Kargil Shaheed Smriti Vatika’ in the capital on Tuesday, Yogi said that with India’s victory in this war, Pakistan was also exposed in front of the whole world. Let us tell that this battle which started in May ended with India’s victory on 26 July.

‘People still take the names of martyrs with pride’

The Chief Minister said that the world saw the valor and sacrifice of the soldiers of India in the Kargil war. Remembering Captain Manoj Kumar Pandey, Lance Naik Kewalanand Dwivedi, Rifleman Sunil Chand, Major Ritesh Sharma, Captain Aditya Mishra, he said that the whole of India still takes the name of these martyrs with great pride and respect. Yogi said, ‘There can be no greater sacrifice than being martyred while protecting the country. Every Indian gets thrilled thinking about the love of these sacrificers for the nation and their spirit to lay down their lives for the motherland.’

‘There can be no greater sacrifice than this’
Yogi Adityanath said, ‘I especially congratulate those parents and family members who have lost such brave sons of their family. There cannot be a greater sacrifice than this. The entire nation will always be indebted to him. The Central and State Governments are always with them towards the families of immortal sons. Yogi said that you all know that on August 15, 2022, the country is completing 75 years of independence. He said that we are all fortunate that we will get an opportunity to be associated with this Amrit Mahotsav program of the country’s independence.

‘We have to connect with Modi’s vision’
Addressing the people, Yogi said that the people of the country have to rise above the narrow limits of caste, creed, religion, region and language as all these things are weakening India. He said, ‘We have to join Prime Minister Modi’s vision to make Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. Between August 13 and 15, all schools, colleges, organizations, institutions, every Uttar Pradesh resident and every Indian should join to hoist the tricolor symbolizing the pride of India, at every home. Joining this will create a new wave of nationalism in every Indian. Yogi said that this will be the true tribute to our martyrs and great men.
